The Beckman Café offers a full lunch menu, as well as coffee, snacks and pastries. It also caters for events held at the Beckman Institute, such as continental breakfasts, snacks, and drinks for seminars and other meetings, box and buffet lunches, and pre- and post-lecture receptions.
The Beckman Institute has the most extensive and powerful computer network of any building on the UIUC campus. The design, configuration, operation, and maintenance of the Institute backbone, rib, and campus connections are the responsibility of the Beckman Institute Information Technology Services (ITS) staff.
The Security Office has an officer on duty daily during the day and evening hours. The Office oversees the distribution of keys as well as responding to emergency situations.
The Office of External Relations at the Beckman Institute oversees the public affairs activities of the Institute, prepares printed and electronic publications, maintains the web site, and coordinates faculty conferences and seminars.
