Sahraoui Chaieb received his Ph.D. in Physics from the Laboratoire de Physique Statistique at the University of Paris (Pierre et Marie Curie) and Ecole Normale Superieure (ENS) in 1995. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering and a part-time faculty member at the Beckman Institute in the 3D Micro- and Nanosystems group.
Honors: Young investigator fellowship, Department of Defense (France) 1992-1994; Department of Investigation and Technology Development of the University of Santiago of Chile fellowship (1997-1998).
