Wendy Heller received her Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1986. She is an associate professor in the U of I Department of Psychology and a part-time Beckman Institute faculty member in the Cognitive Neuroscience group. Her fields of professional interest are lateralization of function; neurobiological bases of social, emotional, and cognitive functioning; developmental neuropsychology; and clinical neuropsychology.

Honors: NIMH Individual Faculty Scholar Award (1991-1993); NIMH Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Award (1985-87).
