    Edward McAuley is a professor in the Departments of Kinesiology and Psychology and is a member of the Human Perception and Performance Group. His primary research agenda focuses on relationships among physical activity, aging, and psychological function.

    Professor McAuley collaborates closely with Professor Arthur Kramer of the Beckman Institute examining the effects of aerobic fitness training on brain function and structure in older adults. In addition, he collaborates with Professor Karl Rosengren studying physical activity influences on psychological and motor function and their relation to disability and function in older adults.
